Anggia Prasetyoputri is a researcher at the National Agency for Research and Innovation since October 2021 and previously served as a researcher at the Research Center for Biotechnology, Indonesian Institute of Sciences from February 2005 to September 2021. Anggia's work focuses on bio-prospecting Indonesia's biodiversity for potential antibiotic candidates within the Centre for Drug Discovery and Development research group. Research interests include utilizing microbial genomics to explore the production mechanisms of bioactive secondary metabolites and studying the mechanisms underlying antibiotic resistance in pathogenic bacteria. Anggia holds a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Molecular Microbiology from The University of Queensland, a Master of Science (MSc) by Research in Microbiology and Immunology from the University of Melbourne, and a Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) in Molecular Biology from the University of Indonesia.
