Chris Michel's work experience starts in 1978 when they worked as a Buyer for K&B. In this role, they handled the evaluation and selection of new items, as well as the maintenance and review of existing items. Chris was also responsible for various budgets.
From 1997 to 1998, Chris worked as a Manager of Distribution Center Replenishment for Rite Aid Corporation. Chris coordinated the closing and liquidation of K&B Corporate Headquarters and two Distribution Centers. Chris later relocated to Rite Aid's Corporate Headquarters to oversee a staff of Replenishment Buyers.
Starting in 1999, Chris became a Business Owner of Dollar Values, Inc. Chris opened and operated eight retail dollar stores, handling all aspects of the business including human resources, purchasing, operations, and leasing issues with landlords and property managers.
Lastly, since 2009, Chris has been working as the Associate Vice President of Retail Services at The National WWII Museum. Chris provides leadership and supervision of the Museum Retail Department, which includes various retail locations, warehouses, a webstore, and a wholesale business. Chris is responsible for overall direction, financial planning, merchandise acquisition, new product development, budget preparation, and financial reporting. Chris manages a team of 20 employees.
Chris Michel attended Nicholls State University from 1978 to 1982. Chris studied Business during their time at the university.
