Educational Travel Project Manager at The National WWII Museum

Emily Hanish has a diverse work experience, starting with their role as a Student Programs Intern at The National WWII Museum in 2019 and 2020, where they worked on curriculum development, established educational connections, and facilitated events. Emily then worked as a Field Archaeologist at the Defense POW/MIA Accounting Agency in 2021, assisting in archaeological excavations to locate and identify remains of missing veterans from World War II. Currently, they serve as an Executive Assistant to the Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer at The National WWII Museum. Emily also worked as a Graduate Research Assistant at the University of New Orleans starting in 2020.

Emily Hanish earned their Bachelor of Arts degree in History from the University of New Orleans, where they attended from 2017 to 2021. Emily later pursued a Master of Arts degree in History from the same university, completing their studies from 2020 to 2022.
