Alexandra A. Murdoch, Esq. is a seasoned policy advisor with extensive experience in conservation finance and policy. Currently serving as a Senior Policy Advisor for The Nature Conservancy since November 2021, Alexandra previously held several leadership roles at American Forests, including Vice President of Conservation Finance and Policy, and Vice President of Policy from October 2018 to November 2021. Alexandra also directed federal policy initiatives at the Chesapeake Bay Foundation as Federal Policy Director from February 2012 to September 2018 and served as Federal Policy Counsel for the organization earlier in 2011. In addition, Alexandra has experience as a consultant and program coordinator for various projects under USAID. Academic credentials include a Juris Doctor from The Catholic University of America, Columbus School of Law, earned in 2009, and a Bachelor of Arts from Hamilton College, obtained in 1992.
