Christine Malinowski

Christine Malinowski has extensive experience in the field of data governance and research data management. Christine is currently working as the Data Governance Lead at The Nature Conservancy since May 2023. Prior to this, they held roles at Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) as a Research Data Librarian and Library Fellow for Research Data Management from September 2014 to May 2023. Additionally, Christine has experience as an Editor and Assistant Editor at SLA, a Science and Data Services Librarian at Lewis & Clark College, and a Scholarly Communications Intern at Fred Hutchinson Cancer Research Center. Christine also worked as a Graduate Assistant at the University of Washington and an Electronic Resources Librarian at Benaroya Research Institute. Prior to that, they earned an MLIS degree in Library and Information Science from the University of Washington, from 2011 to 2013. In 2010, Christine completed a Graduate Certificate in Publishing and Communications from Harvard University. In 2004, they obtained an MS degree in Science Journalism from Boston University. Christine'sundergraduate education includes a BS degree in Geochemistry from Millersville University of Pennsylvania, which they completed in 2002.
