Kelly Racette

Kelly Racette is a Senior Scientist in Agriculture at The Nature Conservancy, having advanced through roles including Sustainability Scientist and Sustainability Fellow since April 2019. Prior experience includes serving as a Graduate Assistant at the University of Florida, focusing on crop physiology and breeding, and as a Graduate Research Assistant at the International Potato Center, where research concentrated on drought tolerance in potato clones. Additional roles include Executive Assistant to Dr. Leaf Huang at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, a Research Intern at the Organization for Tropical Studies with a focus on community outreach and research on elephant behavior, and various research and administrative positions at institutions such as Duke University and the Student Conservation Association. Kelly Racette holds a Ph.D. in Agronomy and Plant Breeding and an MS in Agroecology and Sustainable Agriculture from the University of Florida, as well as a BS in Environmental Science from Duke University.
