Liwen Mah

Liwen Mah serves as an Advisory Board Member at the Center for Law, Energy & the Environment at Berkeley Law and as a Board Member of the Berkeley Law Alumni Association, contributing to efforts aimed at addressing critical societal issues through legal education and advocacy. As a Conservationist at The Nature Conservancy since 2017, Liwen supports various conservation projects across the western United States and provides strategic advice on marketing and impact investing. Prior experience includes six years as a Board Member at Justice Outside, promoting access to nature for youth, and twelve years as an Attorney at Fenwick & West, specializing in intellectual property and litigation, alongside a commitment to pro bono work. Liwen's earlier career involved quality engineering roles at Altera and New United Motors Manufacturing, complemented by leadership experience as a Unit Leader at the National Youth Science Camp. Liwen holds a JD from the University of California, Berkeley - School of Law and a BS from the University of California, Berkeley.
