Gary Chen

Gary Chen is an accomplished maritime professional with extensive experience in various managerial roles. Currently serving as MNI at The Nautical Institute since August 2020, Gary is also the Managing Director for both XINDE MARINE NEWS, a leading marine news provider in China, and XINDE MARINE SERVICE, which offers a wide range of marine technical and consulting services. Prior roles include Technical Manager at SHENGHAO MARINE and Chief Engineer at INMATESECO, where Gary managed ocean-going vessel operations and progressed through various engineering positions. Gary holds a Bachelor's degree in Engineering/Industrial Management from Dalian Maritime University, obtained between 1996 and 2001.
