Qasim Masood

Qasim Masood is currently the Head of Qualifications Marine & Offshore at The Nautical Institute. Prior to this role, Qasim worked at Lloyd's Register as Senior Technical Specialist/ Surveyor- Fleet Services. Qasim has also served as the 2nd Officer & Chief Officer at Gemarfin Sa Lugano and as a Deck cadet/3rd Officer at Mackinnon Mackenzie & Co of Pakistan. Qasim holds a Master of Science (MSc) in Maritime Safety from Middlesex University, a Btec Nautical Science in Nautical Studies from Lowestoft Maritime College-Suffolk, and a Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Mathematics and Physics from Karachi University.
