Andreas Toresen

Andreas Toresen is an experienced professional with a background in the TIC sector, currently serving as Manager of the Safety Laboratory and Deputy Head of Operations at Nemko since September 2018. In this role, Andreas led operations during the Head's paternal leave, overseeing multiple laboratories and ensuring quality assurance compliance while maintaining financial targets. As a Project Manager, Andreas has managed a variety of projects, assisting customers with understanding certification processes for standards such as RED, FCC, ISED, CB, UL, NRTL, and ENEC. Prior to this, Andreas worked as a Project Engineer, focusing on electrical safety verification in accordance with the IEC CB scheme. Earlier experience includes a role as a Fundraiser for Norges Røde Kors. Andreas holds a Master's degree in Physics and Mathematics (Sivilingeniør) from the Norwegian University of Science and Technology (NTNU), completed in 2018.
