Joep Schaper is a seasoned professional in the field of political science and immigration research, currently serving as a Wetenschappelijk medewerker at the Sociaal en Cultureel Planbureau since March 2019. Schaper completed a PhD in Political Science and Government at the University of Amsterdam, focusing on the relationship between immigration reflections and anti-immigrant attitudes in Europe from 2002 to 2015.
