Alma Selvaggia Rinaldi

Alma Selvaggia Rinaldi is a Junior Investigator Associate at ARIA since September 2023 and has been a Freelance Journalist for both Middle East Eye and The New Arab since 2024 and 2023, respectively. Rinaldi serves as the Country Coordinator for Amnesty International UK's Gulf team, focusing on human rights issues in Bahrain and the UAE, and is involved in editing submissions for The Beacon, a Human Rights Advocacy newspaper. Additionally, Rinaldi is a Research Assistant at BASIRA, advocating for women's rights in the MENA region, and has contributed to various publications, including The Irish Times and The Submarine. Rinaldi holds a Master's degree in Media Communications and Development from The London School of Economics and Political Science and a Bachelor's degree in History and Political Science with a focus on International Relations from Trinity College Dublin.
