Iyari A.

Iyari A. has extensive experience in arts education and community engagement, currently serving as the Creative Community Advocacy Manager at The New Children's Museum since July 2021. Previously, Iyari A. worked as the Arts Education Program Administrator for Young Audiences of Northern California from October 2019 to June 2021 and held a curatorial internship at the Ninth Judicial Circuit Historical Society in late 2020. Additionally, Iyari A. contributed to the Barrio Logan College Institute as a Middle School Specialist from November 2017 to August 2019 and was a Museum Playworker at The New Children's Museum from October 2015 to November 2017. Early career experience includes a role as a Teaching Artist with Izcalli and San Diego Opera from September 2015 to May 2017. Iyari A. holds a Master's degree in Museum Studies from the University of San Francisco and a Bachelor's degree in Anthropology from California State University, Long Beach.
