Maraita Ross has extensive experience in the hospitality and events industry, currently serving as a banquet server and bartender at Hyatt Regency New Orleans since July 2016. With a long-standing involvement in the New Orleans Jazz & Heritage Festival and Foundation, Inc. since April 2007, Maraita has taken on various roles within the concessions department, including cashier, booth manager, exchequer, and inventory manager. Additionally, Maraita has been a volunteer coach for youth volleyball through the New Orleans Recreation Development Commission since August 2015. In the ticketing domain, Maraita has worked with the New Orleans Saints, New Orleans Pelicans, and SMG | Worldwide Entertainment & Convention Venue Management, all while holding a previous position as a banquet server and bridal attendant at Sonesta Hotels.
