David Heayn-Menendez

David Heayn-Menendez is the Chief Strategy and Organizing Officer at The New Pennsylvania Project, a position held since April 2024. Concurrently, David serves as Council President and Borough Councilman for the Borough of Lewisburg since January 2018. David's previous roles include Editor in Chief of ACLAMAR, a bilingual news bulletin for Montgomery County, and various consultative and leadership positions in development and public affairs. David has also contributed as a board member of the Lewisburg Borough Shade Tree Commission and the Historic Architecture Review Board. Educational credentials include a PhD and Master of Philosophy in History from The Graduate Center, City University of New York, as well as a Master of Arts and Bachelor of Arts in History from Villanova University.
