Anne Kim is an accomplished author and policy expert with extensive experience in domestic and social policy. Currently serving as an author for The New Press since 2018, Kim published "Abandoned: America's Lost Youth and the Crisis of Disconnection" in 2020. As a contributing editor and senior writer at The Washington Monthly since 2015, and a senior fellow at the Progressive Policy Institute since 2011, Kim has been instrumental in researching and producing policy briefs and organizing policy-focused events. Additionally, Kim has held various leadership roles, including vice president and director of domestic and social policy, at multiple organizations, while contributing to publications such as Governing Magazine and Republic 3.0. An alumnus of Duke University School of Law and the University of Missouri-Columbia, Kim combines legal expertise with a strong background in journalism to drive impactful policy discussions.
