Jason Linkins is a seasoned journalist and editor with extensive experience in political reporting and media analysis. Currently serving as Deputy Editor and previously as Senior Editor at The New Republic since August 2019, Jason has a strong background in editorial roles, having worked as Senior Editor at ThinkProgress and as a freelance politics writer, reporter, and podcaster. At The Huffington Post, Jason was instrumental in developing political commentary through the “Eat The Press” blog and co-founded HuffPost's first political podcast, “So That Happened,” while also serving as an on-air talent and producer for HuffPost Live. Jason holds a Master of Fine Arts in Theatre from Virginia Commonwealth University and a Bachelor's degree in English from The University of Virginia.
