Rachel Bussey

Rachel Bussey has extensive experience in both emergency response and customer service. Currently serving as a Chaplain Firefighter with the Kentucky Community Crisis Response Board since May 2024, Rachel responds to various crises, including natural disasters and emergency situations. From March 2009 to present, Rachel has held multiple roles at New Washington State Bank, where responsibilities have included customer service, online banking administration, BSA compliance assistance, and bilingual translation. Additionally, Rachel has served as Associate Chaplain for the Indiana Volunteer Firefighters Association since September 2019, providing support to firefighters and survivors. Other notable experiences include ministry work at the Jefferson County Sheriff Office and various positions within the New Washington Fire Department, where Rachel contributed as a Chaplain, Victim Liaison, and certified firefighter. Rachel also held roles in banking and accounts payable earlier in their career, demonstrating a well-rounded professional background.
