Michael Federici

Michael Federici, CFA, has an extensive work experience in the financial industry. Michael is currently serving as the Head of Fixed Income (Managing Director) at NYS Teachers' Retirement System since May 2019. Prior to this, they worked as a Fixed Income Portfolio Manager at Korea Investment Corporation from 2011 to 2017. From 2006 to 2010, they held the position of Quantitative Fixed Income Portfolio Manager at Abu Dhabi Investment Authority. Michael also worked as an Equity Research Sector Specialist at Fidelity Investments from 2002 to 2006. Before that, they were a Research Associate at Harvard Business School from 1999 to 2001 and a Senior Research Analyst at Analysis Group from 1997 to 1999.

Michael Federici, CFA holds a Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in Economics and International Relations from Boston University. Michael also earned a Master of Arts (MA) degree in International Finance and Banking from Tufts University. In addition, Michael obtained the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) certification from the CFA Institute in August 2004.
