Carolyn Lopez

Carolyn Lopez has a long and varied career in the medical profession, beginning in 1992 as a Registered Nurse in various medical facilities. During their nursing career, they specialized in obstetrics and transitioned into a Nurse Educator, teaching medical careers, birthing classes, death and dying, and ethics within the medical profession. In 2006, they became President at Nor-Cal Controls ES, Inc., an automation, engineering, and consulting company, and also served as Co-Owner/COO, CFO. In 2017, they co-founded Serenity Springs Ranch, a 14-acre retreat in Georgetown, CA, where they serve as Co-Owner, Vice President, business/operations manager and founder. Her goal is to provide a safe and fun environment for foster families to take a break, relax, feel appreciated, supported, accepted and loved. In their last few years of nursing, they worked in home care with a focus on death and dying and wound care.

Carolyn Lopez has attended Excelsior University and Cerro Coso. Carolyn has also obtained various certifications, including a Designated Subjects Credential Institute -Teaching Certificate, a U.S. Small Business Administration Certificate, and various Nursing Certificates.
