Justin Patterson has extensive experience in the aerospace industry, having worked for multiple companies over the years. Justin currently serves as the Engineering Director, Design & Certification at NORDAM, a position they have held since April 2021. In this role, they oversee the integration of various divisions within NORDAM, leading engineering design and integration projects for major clients such as Airbus, Gulfstream, Boeing, General Electric, Zodiac, and Pratt & Whitney. As an Engineering Manager, they oversaw the 787 Wing Leading Edge Structures project, managing various aspects such as project, people, customer, requirements, quality, and cost. Justin also provided support to the fleet through structural repair manuals, design modifications, and stress analysis. As an Aerospace Engineer, Justin led the engineering product development activities for multiple wing structures, collaborating with engineering teams in different locations.
Justin's career in the aerospace industry began at Boeing, where they worked as an Aerospace Engineer. During their time at Boeing, they contributed to the development of various wing structures for the 787, 747, and X-45 aircraft models, utilizing tools such as Patran, NASTRAN, and Catia V5 for stress analysis and finite element analysis.

Justin Patterson holds a Master's Degree in Engineering & Technology Management from Oklahoma State University, which they completed from 2001 to 2005. Prior to that, they obtained a Master's Degree in Mechanical Engineering from the same university between 2000 and 2001. Justin'sundergraduate studies were also at Oklahoma State University, where they earned a Bachelor of Applied Science (BASc) in Mechanical Engineering Technology from 1997 to 2000. In addition to their degrees, Justin has certifications as a Project Management Professional (PMP) from the Project Management Institute, obtained in January 2014, and as a Professional Engineer from the Oklahoma Society of Professional Engineers, obtained in October 2007.
