General Manager, Programs And Innovation at The North Australian Pastoral Company

Darryl Savage has extensive experience in agriculture and academic sectors, currently serving as the General Manager of Programs and Innovation at The North Australian Pastoral Company since March 2018. As the owner of Savvy Agriculture, a family-operated business managing cattle and sheep in New South Wales and Queensland since June 2003, Darryl also holds multiple roles at Pacific Tug Group, including Board Member and Group Commercial Manager, since March 2015. Previous positions include Senior Lecturer in Animal Science and Biochemistry at the University of New England, where international development programs were implemented across Asia, the Middle East, and Africa. Darryl's career began in research and development with the Northern Territory Government and Stanbroke Pastoral Company. Education credentials include an MBA from Griffith University, a PhD in cattle breeding and nutrition from The University of Queensland, and additional qualifications in higher education and welding.
