Bill Dorner

Business Intelligence Manager at The Northwest Seaport Alliance

Bill Dorner has a diverse work experience spanning over several industries and roles. Bill began their career as a Research Assistant at Washington State University in 1991, where they worked until 1998. During this time, they also served as an Instructor at Pierce College from 1996 to 1998. In 1998, Bill joined URS as an Environmental Scientist and Database Analyst, staying with the company until 2006. In 2006, they transitioned to Parametrix as a Sr Database Analyst until 2007. From 2008 to 2014, they held various positions at Parametrix, including Business Analyst, Sr Business Analyst, and Project Manager. Bill then became a Solution Architect at Parametrix from 2014 to 2018. Most recently, Bill joined The Northwest Seaport Alliance in 2018 as a Business Intelligence Manager, where they currently work.

Bill Dorner earned a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration with a focus on Finance and Geology from Pacific Lutheran University, where they studied from 1989 to 1993. Bill later pursued a Master's degree in Environmental Science with a specialization in Toxicology at Washington State University from 1994 to 1995.
