Melanie Stambaugh

Melanie Stambaugh has a diverse work experience. Melanie is currently working as the Director of Communication at The Northwest Seaport Alliance, which manages the marine cargo operations of the ports of Seattle and Tacoma. In this role, their focus is on supply chain challenges in the west coast and global trade.

Before joining The Northwest Seaport Alliance, Melanie was the owner and strategy coach at You Impression. Melanie led a team of strategy coaches who helped professionals and teams improve their performance and productivity. They used the strategy of play to teach strategic business and life principles.

In 2014, at the age of 24, Melanie was elected as a legislator in the Washington State House of Representatives. Melanie served two terms representing the 25th Legislative District of Pierce County. Melanie was the youngest woman to be elected to the Washington State Legislature since 1934.
