Alexander Aamo

Alexander Aamo is a Senior Adviser in the Asset Management Department at Finansdepartementet since March 2021, having previously served as an Adviser in the same department. Prior to this role, Alexander worked as an Analyst at Menon Economics from January 2019 to March 2021. Alexander's experience includes serving as a board member at ECONnect NTNU and a summer intern at SpareBank 1 Markets AS focused on interest rate and currency management. Alexander has a robust educational background, holding an Autorisert porteføljeforvalter degree from the Norwegian School of Economics, alongside a Master of Science in Economics from the Norwegian University of Science and Technology and master’s courses in financial economics from NTNU and the London School of Economics. Previous work experience includes multiple summer positions at Trondheim Bydrift in the city center division.
