Vijay Sriram

Vijay Sriram's work experience begins in 2011 as an IT Service Desk Analyst at Atlas Copco, where they provided support to over 1500 internal staff. Vijay then worked as a Help Desk Technician at Loreto Normanhurst, managing all Active Directory network administration and providing hardware/software support for over 1K users.

In 2012, Sriram joined Australia Post as an IT Senior Service Desk Analyst, leading a team and providing support to various teams across Australia Post and StarTrack IT. Vijay also supported the local Branch Infrastructure Engineer team and managed critical systems.

From 2013 to 2015, Sriram served as an IT Branch Infrastructure Engineer at Australia Post, supporting 20 branches in NSW/ACT and handling physical and virtual infrastructure. Vijay then took on the role of IT Infrastructure Support Engineer, providing support for various teams and handling escalated level 2/3 infrastructure support requests.

In 2018, Sriram became the IT Infrastructure Engineer - Transformation Lead at DP World Australia, where they oversaw infrastructure transformation projects. Vijay then joined Datacom in 2022 as an Infrastructure Modernization Consultant, designing and developing business solutions and projects.

Currently, Sriram is working at The NRMA as a Senior Lead Infrastructure Engineer.

Vijay Sriram holds a Master of Science (M.S.) degree in Computer and Information Systems Security/Information Assurance, which they obtained from Central Queensland University in 2009. Prior to that, they earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Electronics and Communications Engineering from JNT University, India, completing it in 2007. Additionally, they have obtained various certifications including VMware Certified Professional 6 - Data Center Virtualization, certifications related to Windows Server 2012, SQL Server 2008, and Microsoft Azure Administrator Associate.
