Gerda Feunekes currently serves as a member of the Lid programmaraad at BioBased Circular and as a member of the Stuurgroep at Buikbelang (Gut4u). Additionally, Gerda is a bestuurslid for De Week van Ons Eten, managing director of the Agrotechnology & Food Sciences Group at Wageningen University & Research, and holds positions on the supervisory boards of Next Food Collective and AMS Institute. From July 2014 to December 2022, Gerda was the executive director at Voedingscentrum, and previously spent 18 years at Unilever in various roles including global director of nutrition for savoury products. Gerda began their academic career as a PhD fellow at Wageningen University, focusing on the impact of social environments on food choices. Educational qualifications include an MSc in Nutrition from Wageningen University & Research and further executive training in economics and governance.
