Bob Sonnenberg

Bob Sonnenberg is an accomplished engineering professional with extensive experience in product development and management. Currently serving as Product Development Engineering Manager at The Oakwood Group since April 2014, Bob previously held various engineering roles at Chrysler Group LLC, including Engineering Manager, where responsibilities included engineering oversight for interior door trim panels and management of a team of 23 engineers and designers. Notably, Bob was recognized for leading the award-winning design of the 2009 Dodge Ram instrument panel and fully coordinated the launch of the 2006 Dodge Ram truck interiors. Earlier positions include designing components for Daimler Chrysler and quality control at Excel Pattern Works. Bob holds a Master's degree in Manufacturing Systems and a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, both from Lawrence Technological University.
