Dr Yadunath Bajgai

Dr. Yadunath Bajgai is a seasoned Research Scientist at The Ohio State University since April 2023, with extensive experience in agricultural development and research. Dr. Bajgai has served as the Specialist and National Coordinator of the Potato Program at the Ministry of Agriculture and Livestock in Bhutan since February 2016, focusing on potato germplasm evaluation, soil fertility management, and integrated pest management. Prior roles include Deputy Research Officer and Principal Research Officer at the RNR-Research and Development Centre in Bajo, where farming systems research was conducted, and district-level positions in agriculture within Punakha and Pemagatshel districts. Dr. Bajgai holds a Ph.D. in Soil Sciences from the University of New England, a Master's in Agriculture from Chiang Mai University, and a Bachelor's in Agriculture from Bangor University, complemented by foundational education in General Sciences at Sherubtse College.
