Matthew Son

Matthew Son is currently a participant in the Network Planning and Price Management College Mentorship Program at American Airlines, where responsibilities include learning about the company's various departments and developing essential corporate skills. Previously held an internship in Hub and Gateway Operations Strategy at American Airlines, where achievements involved automating staffing models and improving wheelchair handling processes through research and presentations to senior leadership. In addition, Matthew serves as an Administrative Assistant for the Marching Band at The Ohio State University, managing office tasks and supporting performances. Past experience includes performing as a violinist at Loretta McCray Studios and working at Moe's Southwest Grill, where customer service and teamwork were prioritized. Matthew is pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Industrial Systems Engineering and Electrical Engineering at The Ohio State University.
