Lily Hayes

Marketing Manager at The Old Vic

Lily Hayes is the marketing manager at The Old Vic. Lily has previously worked as the marketing manager at Lyric Hammersmith Theatre and as a marketing officer at Maidwell Marketing.

Lily has extensive experience in planning and leading strategic and innovative multi-channel marketing campaigns for West End shows, touring theatre productions and other live entertainment events. Lily is skilled in building strong working relationships with producers and other external clients, creating and maintaining campaign budgets, organising and running client meetings, and overseeing and planning digital campaigns.

Lily is also experienced in managing relationships with ticket agents, filing deal sheets, compiling sales figures and audience analysis, writing show copy and taglines, organising and facilitating high profile industry events, tracking campaign invoices, proofreading and trafficking promotional materials, training and mentoring marketing assistants, volunteers and casual staff, and managing multiple social media accounts for each show.

Lily Hayes has a professional diploma in digital marketing from the Digital Marketing Institute, a BA (Hons) in English Literature from Bath Spa University, and a foundation course in musical theatre from the Oxford School of Drama. Lily also has GCSEs and A Levels from Brentwood Ursuline Convent High School.

Lily Hayes reports to Joanna Down, Chief Marketing Officer. They work with Armani Ur-Rub - Senior Press Manager, Kaia Rajah - Senior Marketing Manager, and Laura Sangster-Poole - Deputy Head of Marketing.
