Shea Rogers

Shea Rogers has a strong background in marketing and digital communications. Currently, Shea works as a Senior Marketing Specialist at Oppy, where they are responsible for keeping marketing materials, special projects, packaging, and events on track and on budget. They also update marketing materials using various software programs and write marketing collateral. Before Oppy, Shea worked at the Hard Rock Casino Vancouver as a Marketing Coordinator, where they planned and executed marketing promotions, campaigns, and special events. They also coordinated media and advertising campaigns and purchased media as directed. Prior to that, Shea was a Digital Marketing Coordinator at Great Canadian Gaming Corporation, where they managed social media platforms for ten different casinos, created and managed email marketing initiatives, and measured the effectiveness of digital marketing initiatives. Additionally, Shea has experience as a Public Relations Practicum Student at Popcorn, where they worked on enhancing companies' digital presence and managing social media influencer relationships. Earlier in their career, Shea worked at Starbucks as a Shift Supervisor, where they handled sales tracking, cash management, and general store management while leading and managing a team of baristas.

Shea Rogers attended Kwantlen Polytechnic University from 2012 to 2017, where they obtained a Diploma in Public Relations, Advertising, and Applied Communication. During the same period, they also studied Journalism at Kwantlen Polytechnic University. In September 2013, Shea obtained a Diploma in Public Relations and Communications from Kwantlen Polytechnic University. Additionally, they have obtained several certifications, including BCLC Anti-Money Laundering (AML) and BCLC Privacy Awareness Training for Casino and CGC from BCLC in May 2017, and Hootsuite Academy Analytics from Hootsuite in March 2017.
