Tucker McCrady has a diverse work experience spanning from 1991 to the present. Tucker started their career as an actor, working in various roles from June 1991 to February 1997. After taking a break to be a full-time dad from February 1997 to August 1998, they transitioned into the legal field. Tucker worked as an associate at Patterson, Belknap, Webb & Tyler from September 2001 to May 2004, then as an associate at Shearman & Sterling from May 2004 to January 2006. Tucker joined Warner Music Group in January 2006 as an Associate Counsel for Digital Legal Affairs, where they worked until February 2011. Tucker then took on the role of Vice President, Litigation at Warner Music Group from March 2011 to May 2012. Afterwards, they joined Greenberg Traurig, LLP in May 2012 as Of Counsel, Entertainment until February 2014, when they became a Shareholder at the same company until July 2016. Currently, they are serving as the EVP & General Counsel at The Orchard since July 2016.
Tucker McCrady began their education journey in 1983 at Harvard University, where they pursued a Bachelor of Arts degree in Philosophy. Tucker graduated with honors in 1987. Following their time at Harvard, McCrady enrolled at The Juilliard School in 1987 and completed a program in Drama, earning a Certificate in 1991. Continuing their academic pursuits, McCrady then attended Columbia Law School from 1998 to 2001, where they obtained a Doctor of Law (JD) degree.
