Michelle Howard

Interim Chief Program Officer/executive Vice President at Osborne Association

Michelle Howard has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and organizations. Michelle began their career at the International Rescue Committee as a French teacher in 2009. Michelle then worked as a private tutor for high school students before joining the La Jolla Country Day School as an assistant teacher and camp counselor in 2011. Michelle also interned at The Falls Church as a high school ministries intern and fellow, where they led small groups and performed administrative tasks. In 2012, they served as a seminary intern at St. Stephen's Episcopal Church. Michelle then became a student ministry associate at Duke Chapel before transitioning to work as a test preparation tutor for Varsity Tutors in 2014. In 2015, they joined The Osborne Association as a program analyst and later became the program analytics manager. Michelle also served as the interim director of workforce development and, currently, holds the position of director of program operations. In 2017, Michelle took on the role of lecturer and fellow at Yale University, co-instructing the Prison Law and Policy undergraduate seminar.

Michelle Howard obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree in Religious Studies from Yale University, where they studied from 2007 to 2011. Michelle later pursued a Masters of Divinity with a focus on Divinity/Ministry at Duke University from 2012 to 2014.
