Nghi Lu

Nghi Lu has a diverse work experience in the field of animation. From 2018 to 2022, Nghi has held various roles in different companies. They started at Primal Screen in 2018, participating in the SCAD GENERATE - 24 Hour Challenge. In 2019, Nghi worked on the film "Rikyu" as a Co-Leader, Art Director, and Animator. They were part of a team of nine in the production of a two-minute Hybrid film. In 2020, Nghi worked at Floyd County Productions as a Harmony Animator for three months and then moved to Ingenuity Studios Inc. as an Animation TD/ 2D Character Animator. At Ingenuity Studios, Nghi built rigs and animated both puppet and traditional 2D animation in Toon Boom Harmony while also assisting teammates with technical questions. In 2021, Nghi joined OVFX Studio as a 2D Animator and subsequently returned to Primal Screen as a 2D Rigger/Animator.

Nghi Lu attended Savannah College of Art and Design from 2014 to 2019, where they obtained a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree. Their field of study was focused on Animation, Interactive Technology, Video Graphics, and Special Effects.
