Russell Kischuk

Russell Kischuk, PMP, has a diverse work experience that spans various roles and industries.

Russell has served as the VP of Portfolio Management at The Outpost, where they oversaw a dedicated delivery team and cultivated relationships with federal clients for growth in federal service accounts. Russell also provided acceleration and business development consultancy for firms scaling technology within the defense innovation ecosystem.

Prior to that, Russell worked as the VP of Program Management at The Outpost, driving innovation and technology solutions delivery for clients in Federal and Defense contracting. Russell successfully secured SBIR Phase I, Phase II, and Phase III awards for clients, demonstrating a keen understanding of the federal procurement process.

Russell also worked as a Mentor for Techstars Washington DC Powered by J.P. Morgan, where they supported startups in tapping into the unique strengths of DC's innovation and startup ecosystem.

Before that, they held roles at SJ Technologies, starting as a Project Manager and progressing to Program Manager and Client Executive. In these roles, Russell was responsible for managing and growing US Treasury and Army federal accounts, as well as identifying and capturing federal opportunities. Russell also provided guidance on best practices for Agile Software Development Methodologies at a program level.

Russell's work experience also includes serving as the Chief Executive Officer of FCA Management INC, where they managed business development and operations across diversified business lines, and as a Financial Management Technician and Sergeant in the Indiana Army National Guard, where they received recognition for exceeding goals in various leadership roles.

Earlier in their career, Russell worked as the Director of Compliance Management Services at Fall Creek Associates LLC, specializing in employee benefits. Russell assisted in data analysis for employee benefit plan audits and developed knowledge of IRS and Department of Labor rules and regulations.

Russell Kischuk, PMP attended Purdue University from 2011 to 2016, where they studied economics. In addition to their degree, they have obtained several certifications throughout their education and career. In 2011, they completed the Level 1 Financial Management Certification Course offered by the Secretary of Defense. In 2016, they obtained the Level 2 Financial Management Certification for GFEBS, also from the Secretary of Defense. Most recently, in October 2020, they achieved the Project Management Professional (PMP) certification from the Project Management Institute.
