Dr. Olha Homonchuk is a dedicated academic and research professional with extensive experience in social policy and education. Currently serving as a Senior Research Officer at the Overseas Development Institute since January 2023, Dr. Homonchuk leads analyses on educational coherence in conflict-affected regions and manages the Youth and Capabilities Domain for the FCDO-funded African Cities Research Consortium. Previous roles include Senior Research Executive at Ipsos Public Affairs, where management of social policy evaluations for the UK government was key, and a Research Consultant position at the Overseas Development Institute, contributing to studies on primary education strategies across various countries. Dr. Homonchuk holds a PhD in Social Policy from the University of Oxford, alongside a Master’s and Bachelor’s degree from the same institution and Cornell University, respectively.
