Maggie Matthews has over 15 years of work experience. Maggie began their career at National Grid as a Graduate Development Adviser in 2003. Maggie then joined National Grid Transco as a Leadership Development Advisor in 2003. In 2005, they joined The Oxford Group as a Principal Consultant and later became the Head of Behavioural Assessment. From 2016 to 2017, they served as the Head of Employee Recruitment and Development at The Oxford Group. Maggie then took on the role of Head of People Strategy & Development from 2017 to 2020. Currently, they are working as the Associate Director of Business Development at The Oxford Group.
Maggie Matthews completed a Postgraduate Diploma in Human Resource Development from the University of Wolverhampton from 2000 to 2002. Prior to that, they obtained a Bachelor's degree in Business Studies with a focus on Services Marketing from the Institute of Technology, Carlow, from 1990 to 1994.
In terms of additional certifications, Maggie obtained the ICF Member Badge from the International Coaching Federation in 2021 and the GDPR & Data Privacy certification from the City & Guilds Group in the same year. In 2019, they became an Ampersand Award Assessor with the City & Guilds Group. Prior to that, they were nominated for the Pioneer in Skills Development award in 2017 and obtained certifications in Strengthscope from Strengthscope® and MBTI from The Myers-Briggs Company in the same year. Maggie also holds the MCIPD certification from CIPD, which they obtained in 2003.
