Melissa Castor is a seasoned professional in graphic design, currently serving as a Senior Graphic Designer at Duro Dyne since December 2012, where responsibilities include designing brochures, catalogs, and large format banners. Co-owning FrayedBooks, Melissa also holds roles as a photographer and reviewer while contributing as a correspondent for JrockRevolution.com, covering Japanese music and fashion events across North America. Additional experience includes various roles at The Paramount, freelance work as a Studio Art Director at Slightly Mad Communications, and customer service at Utrecht Art Supplies. Melissa began their career with marketing and creative services at Adelphi University, where a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Graphic Design was obtained, alongside a minor in Art History.
