Melissa Ferraro

Melissa Ferraro is an experienced professional in the fields of communication and arts education, currently serving as an Improv Communications Specialist at Improv for Work and Wellness since January 2024. In addition to this role, Melissa has held the position of President at Camp Mel since 2011, where the focus is on enhancing the expressive abilities of campers through a diverse range of activities. Melissa also works as a Drama Teacher at The Parkside School and as a Teacher at Manhattan Youth Downtown Community Center, demonstrating a long-standing commitment to education and the arts. With additional experience as a Teaching Artist at various organizations, including Wingspan Arts and LEAP, and a background in theater education from Circle in the Square Theater School, Melissa combines artistic expertise with effective communication strategies. A graduate of the University of Rochester with a Bachelor of Arts in English Language and Literature, Melissa's educational journey reflects a strong foundation in the arts and humanities.
