Ben Spitz

Vice President Corporate Strategy at The Parts Authority

Ben Spitz has a diverse work experience spanning various industries and roles. Ben began their career as a Nuclear Engineer at Raytheon, where they worked on programming, strategy, and design for power plants. Afterward, they joined The Parts Authority as an Operations Manager, where they focused on sales, marketing, purchasing, and operations for automotive parts. At CADComp, they served as a Senior VP, overseeing software architecture, product management, and global marketing. Following that, Ben became the CEO of Nanolayers, an Intel-backed startup focused on commercializing nanotechnology. Ben then worked as a Technology Management Consultant, providing freelance services to numerous companies, including product management and data analysis for large-scale projects. Currently, they hold leadership positions at The Parts Authority as the VP of Corporate Strategy and the VP of Strategy and Sustainability.

Ben Spitz received a Bachelor of Arts degree in Engineering from Yeshiva University in 1990. Ben then went on to pursue a Master of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from Columbia University, which they completed in 1992. In terms of additional certifications, Ben obtained a certification in Techniques in Nuclear Radiation Shield Analysis from The University of Texas at Austin in 1993. Ben also completed the Engineering Four Year Professional Development Program - Phase 1 from EBASCO in the same year. In 2019, Ben obtained a certification in Artificial Intelligence: Implications for Business Strategy from MIT Sloan School of Management. Ben is also a Certified Energy Manager, certified by the Association of Energy Engineers.
