Jeff Rich

Jeff Rich is the current Director at The Phoenix Symphony. Jeff has had a long and successful career in the business world, most notably as the Chief Executive Officer of Affiliated Computer Services, Inc. (ACS).

Rich began their career in 1982 as an Assistant Vice President at InterFirst Bank, NA. Jeff then moved to Citibank, NA in 1986, where they served as Vice President until 1989. In this role, they led several transactions ranging in size from $100 million to $8 billion.

In 1989, Rich joined ACS as its Chief Financial Officer. Jeff was promoted to Chief Operating Officer in 1995 and then to Chief Executive Officer in 1998. Under their direction, ACS grew from $300 million in annual revenue to over $5.3 billion, with 55,000 employees in 70 countries. During their tenure, ACS completed an IPO, numerous debt and equity financings, and 84 acquisitions and 12 divestitures. While CEO, ACS was named to the Forbes 400 List of Best Performing Big Companies for seven consecutive years. ACS was acquired by Xerox in 2010 for $6.4 billion.

Rich has been with The Phoenix Symphony since 2019. Jeff has helped the organization navigate the challenges posed by the COVID-19 pandemic and is committed to ensuring its long-term success.
