Cristy Smyth

Cristy Smyth is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in program management and volunteer engagement within recovery and community support sectors. Currently serving as the Volunteer Onboarding and Engagement Manager at The Phoenix since February 2021, Cristy has developed best practices in collaboration with national training teams and supported program staff across various chapters. Additionally, Cristy holds a position as a Lead Generator at Curious Elixirs, focusing on building partnerships with bars and retailers. Previous roles include Regional Manager Training and Development at FirstService Residential, Program Director/Coordinator at Ohlhoff Recovery Programs, and House Manager at Sisterhood in Sobriety, where Cristy established a women's residential treatment program and managed operational aspects. Cristy’s educational background includes a Bachelor's degree in Human Services with a concentration in Addiction Studies and certification as an Alcohol and Drug Abuse Counselor.
