Ashley Hezel, MPA, currently serves as the Director of Operations at The Pittsburgh Foundation, overseeing core operations and managing the grant and funds management teams. Previously, as the Grants Manager at the same organization, Ashley managed an annual grant funding process of approximately $50 million, ensuring compliance with donor intent and regulations. Prior experience includes roles at the U.S. Department of State as a Budget Analyst, at UPMC as a Project Coordinator for a health education initiative, and at the University of Pittsburgh as Lead Grant Administrator of Clinical Investigations. Ashley began a career in finance as a Finance Assistant at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center. Educational qualifications include a Master of Public Administration with a focus on Nonprofit Management from the University of Pittsburgh and a Bachelor of Science in Business Management from Belmont University, along with certification in Human-Centered Design from LUMA Institute.
