Senior Manager, Athlete Relations & Marketing at The Players' Tribune

Rob Villanueva has worked in various roles in the media and entertainment industry since 2002. Rob began their career as a Sr. Level III Network Engineer (NOC) at the New York Daily News in 2002. In 2006, they co-founded Villanueva Bros. LLC, which was later acquired by Tivity Social where they served as Creative Director. From 2011 to 2016, they were the Director of Web Operations at C&I Studios Inc. and from 2012 to 2019, they were the Director of Event Marketing at VB Lifestyle. In 2019, they became the Digital Strategist at #WNBAKicks and the Athlete Marketing at Minute Media. In 2017, they joined The Players' Tribune as Senior Manager, Athlete Relations & Marketing, and in the same year they were promoted to Athlete Influencer Lead. In 2022, they began working as the Chief Marketing Officer at Web3 Earth.

Rob Villanueva attended the New York Institute of Technology from 1996 to 1998, where they obtained an ASSC in Telecommunications Management. Rob then attended the University of San Francisco from 2010 to 2012, where they obtained an Associate of Arts - AA in Internet Marketing. Rob also holds a Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP) certification from Cisco.
