James Brady

Assistant Maintenance Manager at The Port of Virginia

James Brady has a diverse work experience spanning over many years. James began their career in the US Navy as an Aviation Ordnance supervisor, where they ensured the safe handling and maintenance of aircraft weapons systems. After leaving the Navy in 2013, they worked as a Robotics Specialist at Howard Industries, where they maintained and repaired automated robotic systems. In 2017, they transitioned to Leprino Foods as a Maintenance Technician before joining JLL in 2018 as an Amazon Robotics Lead Technician. At JLL, they supervised a team and was responsible for overseeing a large-scale robotics operation. Currently, James is working as an Assistant Maintenance Manager at The Port of Virginia.

James Brady began their education in 2009 at Strayer University, where they studied Information Technology. James attended Strayer University until 2011. In 2013, Brady enrolled at Tidewater Community College and pursued a degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering. James completed their Associate of Science degree in 2015. From 2017 to 2019, Brady attended the College of the Sequoias and obtained an Associate of Science degree in Industrial Mechanics and Maintenance Technology. In 2019, they continued their education at the University of Maryland Global Campus, where they earned a Bachelor of Science in Management Studies in 2021. Additionally, in 2017, Brady obtained a certification in Yaskawa Basic Programming from Yaskawa Motoman.
