Alexandria Mauristhene has a diverse background in human resources and management. Alexandria began their career in 2001 as a Human Resources Manager at Dyess AFB, where they focused on improving productivity and performance. Alexandria later served as the Director of Human Resources at Capt, overseeing a team and ensuring compliance with industry programs. In 2008, they worked as the Director of Admissions, Co-Curricular Coordinator, and Volunteer Liaison at Parkside Christian Academy, where they led recruitment efforts and coordinated extra-curricular activities. Mauristhene continued to advance their career and served as a Human Resources Consultant at Parkside Christian Academy, where they directed an employee-wide overhaul of personnel files. From 2012 to 2014, they worked at Veterans Affairs, serving as a Veterans Service Representative and Management Analyst, providing support and making data-driven decisions. In 2014, they became the Director of Human Resources at KIPP Massachusetts, implementing HR processes and systems. Alexandria then joined Year Up as an Associate Director, Scouting & Sourcing, developing strategies to improve networking and recruitment. From 2016 to 2019, they transitioned to Oxfam America, serving as the Associate Director of People & Culture and Global Human Resources, where they worked strategically to improve employee engagement. Most recently, starting in 2022, they have been working at Jumpstart and The Possible Zone as a Vice President, focusing on people and culture.

Alexandria Mauristhene holds a Bachelor's of Science degree in Business Administration and Management, General from Bethune-Cookman University. Alexandria then pursued their Master of Science degree in Organization Human Resource Development from Abilene Christian University, graduating in 2004. Prior to their master's, they obtained another Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration from Bethune-Cookman College in 2001. Alexandria also holds a Master's degree in Organizational Human Resource Development from Abilene Christian University. Additionally, they obtained a certification in Talent Management from LinkedIn in 2018.
