Thomson Yu is an experienced financial risk management professional with a solid background in asset and liability management. Currently serving as Senior Manager Financial Risk at Principality Building Society since April 2023, Thomson previously held significant positions such as Head of Asset Liability and Capital Management at Chong Hing Bank Limited and Head of Market Risk at China Construction Bank (Asia) Corporation Limited. With a career spanning over 16 years, Thomson has also served as Vice President at China Everbright Bank and held leadership roles at other prominent institutions including China CITIC Bank International, ICBC (Asia), Hang Seng Bank, and HSBC. Thomson holds an MBA in Finance and a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science from The Chinese University of Hong Kong.
