John Michael (Jay) Bargayo has held various roles throughout their work experience. In 2011, they co-founded WhtImEating and developed a Facebook app to study the impact of digital experiences on food behaviors and choices. John Michael (Jay) led the development of standardized reporting and KPIs for acquisition, engagement, retention, and reactivation.

In 2021, Bargayo joined Madison Reed as the Director of Acquisition & Growth Marketing. John Michael (Jay) owned the new customer growth and acquisition team and implemented marketing strategies to drive performance and achieve CAC, LTV, and revenue targets. John Michael (Jay) transitioned the acquisition marketing team in-house, hiring key roles to manage various marketing channels.

Currently, Bargayo is the Senior Director of Growth at The Pro's Closet, a role they started in 2022.

John Michael (Jay) Bargayo pursued their education with a focus on Nutrition and Food Science.
