Trent Ricker has a diverse work experience spanning different industries and roles. Trent began their career as the President of Michael Ricker Pewter, where they oversaw the operations of a pewter art company with multiple galleries across the US. During their time there, they introduced an innovative Collector Relationship Management system.

In 2000, Ricker co-founded 23airmail, an interactive marketing agency, where they served as the Principal, Chief Operating Officer, and Chief Client Strategist. The agency worked with clients in various sectors, including software, communications, government, and manufacturing.

Trent then transitioned to Ricker Consulting in 2004, where they held the role of Principal Marketing Strategist. As a marketing consultant, they focused on internet eHousefile growth, cultivation, sales, and marketing for clients in industries such as high tech, healthcare, and government.

In 2005, Ricker joined Convio as the Vice President of Account Services. This online software provider offered CRM and online fundraising solutions for non-profit organizations. Trent managed the day-to-day operations of account services teams in Austin and Washington, DC, ensuring client satisfaction and driving retention. Convio was later acquired by Blackbaud in 2012.

Since 2009, they have served as the CEO and President of Pursuant Group, a platform of companies providing technology-enabled marketing and fundraising solutions to the non-profit market. Pursuant Group offers analytics software products, including the Pursuant GivingDNA Platform and Advizor Solutions, as well as church management system products like TouchPoint Software.

Trent Ricker attended Arizona State University from 1986 to 1988. However, it is not specified whether they obtained a degree or pursued a specific field of study during this time. From 1988 to 1990, they attended the University of Colorado Boulder and earned a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Small Business Management / Entrepreneurship.
